Q: How often should I have my eyes checked?

A: If you are a healthy adult between the ages of 20 and 60, we recommend a full eye exam every two years. If you are being treated for diabetes, high blood pressure or other systemic conditions, you need to have an eye exam every year.

Q: At what age should children have their first eye examination?

A: Children should have their first full eye exam at age 3. Then again at age 5, then every year while in school.

Q: How long does it take to get a pair of glasses?

A: Many single vision prescriptions can be filled the same day. Other prescriptions can usually be filled within 2 - 7 business days.

Q: How much do glasses cost?

A: Glasses start at $69 for a complete frame and lens and then go up from there depending on lens design, type of material and other features.

Q: What insurance plans do you accept?

A: We accept most major insurance plans. However some plans will only cover your visit if you have a medical problem with your eyes. Remember too, that some plans require a co-payment, annual deductible or referral from your primary care physician. To inquire about a specific plan, please contact us.
